A top tier travel institution, specialized in luxury vacation packages, are looking to recruit an Accountant for their offices in Larnaca. We are looking for a strong team player who can effectively interface with various departments and should be familiar with local and global Accounting standards and will be reporting to the Chief Accountant. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily bookkeeping in the accounting system
- Preparation of quarterly VAT Return
- Prepare quarterly management accounts
- Managing and maintaining the Company’s fixed assets register.
- Reconciliation of receivables/payables/loans and banks
- Assist in gathering information and coordination of the audits
- Update financial data, document and file accounting transactions in an organized manner
- Control over source documentation for companies registered locally and abroad
- Perform any other accounting duties as assigned
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
In possession of a Financial Diploma, currently studying for an ACCA (min 9 subject passed) or a holder of a Degree in an Accounting related subject

A minimum of 5 years relevant accounting experience

Computer literate
-
Excellent knowledge of English language is required
