MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy of financial records, and supporting compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling accounts.

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries and any ad hoc reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial information.

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations, including the preparation and submission of tax returns and staying up to date with relevant tax legislation.

Assist in the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory requirements.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or LCCI Higher Level (or equivalent).

Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, finance or related field.

Fluency in both English and Greek (written and spoken).

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Strong teamwork abilities.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
