DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- As an Accountant, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and the smooth running of the finance function. Working closely with the Senior Accountant and wider team, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities.
Your responsibilities will include:

Managing daily accounting activities and maintaining accurate financial records.

Processing purchase invoices, supplier payments, and communicating with suppliers and banks.

Processing sales invoices and monitoring incoming payments.
-
Preparing and submitting VAT returns.

Reconciling bank accounts and cash transactions.

Reviewing, reconciling, and processing crew payroll.

Performing account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.

Supporting financial reporting and month-end accounting activities.

Maintaining organised accounting records and documentation.

Collaborating with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Assisting with financial audits and ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Providing ongoing support to the Senior Accountant and Accounting Supervisor.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
The ideal candidate will have:

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

At least 2 years' experience in an accounting position.

A strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.

Experience using accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

A proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Excellent communication skills and a high level of professionalism.

The ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.
SALARY AND BENEFITS

€26,000 - €32,500 Gross Per Annum
