The successful candidate must have at least 3 years’ experience as an Accountant ideally within the Forex industry. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist and support in the financial reporting and general ledger structure

Assist in the accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
-
Ensure the accurate and timely processing of positive pay transactions
-
Ensure all supplier invoices are paid as per the terms and conditions agreed

Assist in daily banking requirements

Assist in developing more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy

Assist external auditors to ensure a clean and timely year end audit

Supports the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
-
Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department
-
Execute and reconcile the payment of payroll for all the company employees

Ensure timely delivery and collection of documents
-
Conduct periodical spot checks on all departments to ensure accuracy and compliance in all accounting areas

Carry out any further duties assigned by their line manager

CANDIDATE PROFILE

University Degree in Accounting or similar
-
Minimum of 3 years’ experience, experience within FX industry would be considered an advantage
-
Working towards ACCA/ACA qualification
-
Fluency in English – additional languages would be considered an advantage

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
