MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Implement accounting records of day-to-day transactions based on accounting policies and standards in an accurate and timely manner.

Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts (banks, intercompany, suppliers, customers etc.)

Meet deadlines for monthly closings and reconciliations, preliminary review, and analysis of the trial balance, while also providing explanations when requested.

Prepare daily bank balances

Prepare and submit vat returns
-
Resolve vat, tax and audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance
-
Maintain historical records by filing documents
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Fluency Greek and English, both verbal and written
-
A Degree/Qualification in Accounting or similar field is an advantage
-
3 years’ experience in a similar role

Ability to work under pressure and as a team member
