A global Accountancy Firm is looking for an Accountant to join their team in Malta. Depending on current experience, you will provide accounting back-office support services to both local and international clients across various sectors. The ideal candidate will have attained (or be in the final stages) of the ACCA and have experience in a client accounting role. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform periodic and annual closing journals

Completion of management accounts

Liaise with the auditors during the annual audit

Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Is a fully qualified accountant or is close to completing the accountancy qualification (ACCA)

Has prior experience within a multi-client environment

Possesses excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills; and

Has the ability to work on own initiative and within a team
