An international Gaming Company is looking for an Accountant to join their team in Guernsey. You will report directly to the Finance Manager and assist with a wide array of accounting duties. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years’ experience in an accounting role, ideally gained within an accounting firm or Gaming company. It is highly advantageous to have attained a degree in accounting or be part-way through the ACCA. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Hands-on duties relating to A/R, A/P, GL, bank reconciliations, intercompany movements reconciliations and revenue recognition

Assist in the month-end and year-end close process

Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate monthly financial reports

Assist in statutory / regulatory requirements submissions

Assist in developing business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen the company’s internal controls

Any additional tasks which may be assigned from time to time
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
2 to 3 years of accounting experience, preferably gained experience in a large accounting firm or gaming company

Holds a recognized Accounting degree or partly ACCA qualified

Confident to work in a fast-paced environment
