MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintaining proper accounting records of local and foreign clients in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards

Perform Debtors and bank reconciliations

Posting Vendor invoices
-
Handling monthly, quarterly and annual closings and preparing Management accounts

Assist in finalization of the annual audits of the companies assigned
-
Communicating directly with the clients, local authorities or external advisors

Preparing and filing VAT/VIES returns
-
Reviewing Tax returns (TD4) prepared by auditors/tax advisors
-
Filing (digital and physical), mailing, and other duties as needed

Assisting with ad hoc tasks that may be requested by the Senior Accountant or management of the company
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Holder of LCCI Higher and / or a degree in accounting
-
At least 3 years of working experience in similar position

Experience in preparing/filing Tax and VAT returns will be considered an advantage.

Russian language will be considered as an advantage
-
Fluent in English and Greek languages.

Hands-on experience with MS Excel

Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information

Strong analytical and organizational skills
