On behalf of a client, a well-established luxury retail company with offices in both Nicosia and Limassol, GRS are looking for an Accountant to join their team in Limassol. The successful candidate must have previous experience as an Accountant ideally within the retail industry and must have excellent communications skills as they will be liaising directly with the External Auditors of the company. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform daily bookkeeping tasks on behalf of the physical shops and the retail e-commerce

Be responsible for the Administration of the shops

Be involved in HR Administration duties such as annual leaves of the employees and sick leaves

Deal with expenses and maintain accurate Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets

Implement accounting records of day-to-day financial transactions based of accounting policies
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
University degree in Accounting and Finance or any other relevant field

Previous experience in an accounting role for at least 3 years

Experience as an Accountant within the retail industry will be considered as a major advantage

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Energetic, self-motivated, action and results-oriented thanks to strong organizational skills

Open-minded and adaptable with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
