On behalf of our client, a well-established company operating in the Fintech industry, GRS are looking for an Accountant to join their Limassol based team. The successful candidate must have previous working experience of at least 3 years in a similar role.   • Bookkeeping and transactions reporting in the accounting system (eSoft or we can consider any other system) for 2 Cyprus LEs (holding parent company and operational company, 15-20 employees in total)
  • Preparing management accounts for the Company on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Reconcile of clients’ accounts, bank accounts, foreign currency exchange differences and intercompany accounts
  • Preparing payments suggestion form, initiating payment approval cycle, and executing payments accordingly
  • Issuing invoices and receipts
  • Preparation and execution of Payroll – full cycle including filling annual IR59 forms and tax returns for employees
  • Preparation of tax and VAT computations and returns
  • Working closely with the management
  • Close cooperation and coordination with external auditors, banks, consultants and other external business partners
  • Minimum 3 years of previous working experience in accounting/bookkeeping
  • University or college degree in accounting or a comparative experience
  • Excellent knowledge of at least one accounting software: eSoft (preferable)
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Excel (formulas, spreadsheet formulation)
  • Previous experience in payroll booking and proper knowledge of the law
  • Knowledge of VAT requirements
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Fluency in Russian will be considered an advantage
  • Excellent organizational skills
