On behalf of our Client, a well-established Trading company, GRS Recruitment are seeking to recruit an Accountant to be based in Limassol. If you have the necessary skills and experience, then GRS are looking forward to receiving your CV for this Limassol Accountant role.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage creditor and debtor orders, invoices, receipts and payments into an appropriate accounting software.

Record transactions in the accounting software on a daily basis.

Perform bank reconciliations on a specific timeline and manage banking duties required by the business.

Prepare supplier’s reconciliations and relevant payments to make.

Prepare and file the Quarterly VAT Returns.
-
Submit the monthly VIES Declarations.
-
Follow up outstanding debtors, maintaining records and providing reports.

Deal with salesmen on monthly regarding sales, receipts and stocks.
-
Perform regular stock taking when required.

Supervise orders when loaded onto the trucks for delivery and check for any discrepancies.

Any other duties assigned by the Management.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

At least 3 years of relevant experience

A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Holder of LCCI Higher and/or CAT Diploma.

Knowledge of applying VAT principles.

Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English Languages.
-
Computer literacy (MS Office – EXCELL , WORD etc).
