MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparation of accounting records for international clients for audit purposes in an efficient manner, in accordance with the firm’s policies and standards, and liaising with auditors.

Preparation and review of VAT/VIES returns.

Collaborating with external parties, locally or abroad, such as auditors, suppliers, banks, tax authorities, and regulatory organizations.

Excellent communication, coordination, and management skills for handling day-to-day matters and liaising with clients.

Preparation of quarterly management accounts.
-
Preparation of ad hoc reports, such as expense analyses and comparison reports.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
-
Membership of a recognized accounting body (ACCA, ACA), or an equivalent qualification.

Minimum of three years of experience in a corporate and accounting environment.
-
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
-
Experience working for a Big 4 audit firm will be considered an advantage.

Strong practical experience in IAS and IFRS.
-
Experience with Financial Instruments/ Portfolio clients and Trusts.

Familiarity with Cyprus Taxation.

Strong analytical skills.
-
Able to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and produce tidy, structured, and accurate work.

Able to provide support on technical and management issues, and to resolve them.
-
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
-
Excellent command of the English and Greek languages.
