On behalf of GRS, a well-standing Accounting and Audit Firm operating successfully for the last 15 years in Limassol is expanding its team and is seeking to recruit ambitious and detail-oriented Accountant. Our client services a diverse portfolio of prominent local and international clients, offering an excellent opportunity for professional growth and hands-on experience in a supportive environment.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
- Responsible for the monthly bookkeeping of various companies
- Preparation of management reports
- Preparation of bank reconciliations and creditors/debtors reconciliations
- Preparing VAT returns where/if necessary
- Preparation of payroll
- Administration duties related to accounting
- Preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Preparation of income tax returns
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Degree in accounting or Finance, or LCCI Higher Diploma in Accounting
- At least 3-4 years of experience in accounting
- Professional attitude-presentable, punctual, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and with attention to detail
- Time management and organization skills
- Energetic, and assertive attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office programs
- Knowledge of Microsoft DynamicNAV will be considered as an advantage
