A boutique independent international management consultancy servicing a range of clients, providing efficient corporate and business support services are working with GRS to recruit an Accountant for their Limassol office. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of previous accounting experience with fluency in Greek and English. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare accounting records, payroll, VAT, VIES, and social insurance submissions for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Post multicurrency transactions and manage financial reporting.
  • Handle VAT reverse charge transactions for services and goods (EU/Non-EU/construction).
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and reconcile debtors and creditors accounts.
  • Calculate loan interest based on clients’ agreements.
  • Prepare VAT and VIES returns on a quarterly or monthly basis.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial information.
  • Collaborate with the audit department to address queries and assist in the finalization of audits, including posting audit adjusting entries.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree, or professional qualification such as CAT, AAT, or LCCI Higher.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in an accounting or audit firm is mandatory.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English.
  • Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in MS Office and accounting software, preferably Intelisoft.
  • Professional attitude with a pleasant and client-focused personality.
  • Candidates must hold the right to live and work in Cyprus.
  • Availability to commence employment within 1–2 months is required.
