On behalf of our client, a leading international organisation, GRS Recruitment are seeking a dynamic and motivated Qualified Accountant to join their professional team in Limassol. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across a variety of established business areas and development projects, with occasional travel required to client offices or other locations. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Performance of bank and other reconciliations.
  • Work closely with clients’ senior management, finance executives and management teams to deliver objectives and timetables for group corporate accounting, financial reporting, tax, and compliance functions.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts, along with annual financial statements.
  • Manage financial planning and control including budgets, forecasts, and cash flows.
  • Liaise with external auditors, as well as internal audit and risk management teams, to conduct reviews and prepare reports.
  • Oversee cost control and efficiency initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of new relationships and business opportunities.
  • Identify and implement improvements in efficiency, effectiveness, and timeliness through automation and process optimisation.
  • Support due diligence processes.
  • Negotiate and liaise with advisors and counterparties.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects as required.
  • Coordinate and support the team alongside management.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • ACA qualification with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
  • MBA qualification will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and practical experience with accounting software and databases.
  • Dynamic, results-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactive with the ability to recommend solutions and improvements.
  • Highly ethical, trustworthy, and discreet, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
