On behalf of our client, a well-established Audit firm, GRS are seeking to recruit an Accountant/Bookkeeper to join their continuously expanding team in Limassol. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as an Accountant/Bookkeeper. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an enthusiastic and friendly environment. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Record of accounting transactions in the accounting software
  • Maintain proper books and records
  • Performing debtors, creditors, bank and other accounting related reconciliations
  • Reviewing and completing the VAT forms and handle of VAT issues
  • Preparing the accounting record for audit
  • Completion and submission of various VAT forms in relation to VAT registration, deregistration and application for VAT refund
  • Submitting VIES forms
  • Producing accounting related reports on a monthly basis
  • Any other required duties
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • University Degree in Business Management, Accounting and Finance, Economics, or any other relevant field
  • Part-qualified ACA/ACCA
  • At least two years of relevant experience
  • Excellent command of the English and Greek languages, both written and spoken
  • Excellent knowledge of MS office suite (Word and Excel)
  • Experience of accounting related software
  • Strong analytical, communication and technical skills
  • Good time management skills and ability to work under pressure
