GRS Recruitment is working with a well-established international group of companies with diversified business operations, currently seeking to recruit an Accounting Assistant for their offices in Limassol.This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounting Assistant (non-qualified) holding LCCI Higher or a relevant qualification to join a dynamic and growing finance team within a reputable international group. The successful candidate will support the finance department across a range of accounting and treasury-related duties, contributing to the smooth operation of multiple group entities.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain accounting records for group companies
  • Manage cash flow activities including payments, loans, and deposits
  • Monitor cash requirements and ensure timely drawdown/renewal of facilities
  • Post credit/debit card and petty cash entries
  • Issue invoices to clients and external partners as required
  • Prepare weekly/monthly management reports
  • Assist with month-end/year-end closings and annual audits
  • Support the preparation of VAT and income tax returns
  • Filing (digital and physical) and general administrative finance duties
  • Any additional tasks assigned by the Finance Manager
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • LCCI Higher or similar qualification and/or Diploma/Degree in Accounting
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Good understanding of basic bookkeeping procedures
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • High numerical accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and practical mindset
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience will be considered an advantage
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise workload, and meet tight deadlines
