On behalf of a well-established international group headquartered in Limassol, GRS Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to join their finance team. The group operates across multiple sectors, offering a stable and professional working environment with long-term growth opportunities.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain accounting records for group companies
- Manage group cash flow: payments, loans, deposits, and renewals
- Post credit/debit card and petty cash transactions
- Handle invoicing, filing (digital/physical), mailing, and admin tasks
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
- Support monthly/year-end closings and annual audits
- Assist with VAT and income tax returns
- Perform tasks assigned by the Finance Manager
Candidate Profile
- Excellent command of English
- LCCI Higher, Diploma or Degree in Accounting
- Strong bookkeeping knowledge; Excel proficiency
- Attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Fast learner with strong common sense
- 3+ years accounting experience (preferred)
- Self-motivated, able to prioritise and meet deadlines under pressure
