Our client, a reputable automotive company based in Nicosia, is seeking a dedicated Accounting Officer. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accounting processing of creditor invoices and expenses
- Registering invoices in the system with due diligence and attention
- Reviewing of accounting transactions and processing of payments to creditors
- Reconciliation of the accounts of creditors, banks and intercompany accounts
- Recording of returned cheques and correspondence with customers
- Performing review and reconciliation of the Company's internal accounts for audit and VAT purposes
- Posting of vehicle invoices
- Checking balances, reconciling, communicating and sending statements/invoices to customers for payment and/or information
- Customer credit control and correspondence for collection
- Collection and archiving of relevant documents
- Cashier's duties, such as issuing receipts from workshop invoices as well as registering the data in the Company's Software System and proper Cashier keeping, as well as keeping a small cash register and entering payment receipts into the software system
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Experience as an accountant or bookkeeper, preferably with a background in automotive
- Non-qualified accountant with practical knowledge and skills in financial recording
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and accounting software
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and organisation
- Good communication skills in English and Greek
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- €18,000 – €22,100 Gross Per Annum
- Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative, any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability
- 13th salary
- After 6 months, the Employee will be included, if he/she wishes, in the Provident Fund
