GRS are working in partnership with a growing technology company who are searching for an Accounting Project Manager to join their team. The company in building and new accounting software to make the process of accounting easy and accessible to everyone from an individual to an international Business.  The successful candidate will be working as part of a small yet proactive team and be involved in the development of the new system, advice and supporting with new configurations and updates. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Thoroughly understand the product, requirements gathering and identifying areas of improvement and new functionality to further enhance the product.
  • Closely collaborate and coordinate with the product team, acting as a product owner and producing/maintaining a product backlog.
  • Identify new product opportunities through various channels including market research and competitor product analysis.
  • Assess the market, competitors, industry trends and customer needs. You will know your market, competition, and product better than anyone.
  • Build strong relationships with your product team and work closely with them at all different stages of the product lifecycle, from product discovery through to product launch.
  • Liaise with external vendors/parties for integrations (e.g., local and international banks).
  • Push through the completion and release of features that are under development.
  • Assisting clients migration to the new accounting software (chart of accounts, bank accounts, sales, expenses) by using our purpose built automated migration tools.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Experience with multiple accounting tools, e.g. Wave, Xero, Zoho, Sage, QuickBooks, e-soft, IntelliSoft, Navision.
  • Detail oriented and extremely organized, with proven ability to establish priorities and achieve results.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record for planning and delivering projects or initiatives in a team-based environment.
  • Full professional proficiency in Greek and English.
  • Accounting background essential (ongoing or completed professional qualifications such as ACA/ ACCA considered a plus).
