GRS are currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant for our client a consultancy and advisory company based in north Malta. Our client pride themselves on providing all their clients a high priority and bespoke service and for this role GRS are ideally looking for an individual with strong communication skills, high fluency in English and ideally started their ACCA qualification or possess a relevant accounting qualification. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial bookkeeping of both local and international businesses in various industries

Handling various accounting reconciliations
-
Preparation of management accounts

Preparation of VAT returns
-
Preparation of year end accounts for audit purposes

Ad-hoc duties
-
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Able to communicate very well in both written and spoken English.

Minimum A level in Accounts. Ideally started ACCA qualification

Ability to communicate in Italian and previous experience would be considered an asset.
