An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Associate to join a global Accounting & Advisory firm in Malta. You will handle various financial tasks, support clients in financial matters, and collaborate with internal teams to provide exceptional service. The perfect candidate will have just graduated or be in professional stages of ACCA and have experience in Client accounting. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Client Financial Management
  • Manage financial transactions, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations, for a range of corporate clients.
  • Maintain organized client financial records and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries related to their financial matters.
Accounts payable and receivable
  • Process invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments on behalf of clients.
  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection and client satisfaction.
Financial reporting and Analysis
  • Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, tailored to each client's needs.
  • Assist clients in analyzing financial data to make informed business decisions.
Compliance and Regulations
  • Ensure clients' financial activities adhere to relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry-specific compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and vat/tax returns and other necessary financial documents on behalf of clients.
Audit assistance
  • Prepare necessary financial documentation and schedules for internal and external audits for clients.
  • Support clients during audit processes by providing accurate financial information.
Collaboration and communication
  • Work closely with internal teams, such as corporate secretarial and legal teams, to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients to address their financial needs and concerns.
Payroll
  • Processing payroll for multiple clients, including calculations, deductions, and adjustments.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or ACCA qualified.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and financial analysis tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
