Our client, a well established and reputable winery are seeking a diligent and meticulous Accounts Clerk to join their successful business. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer you will be working to support with accounts and bookkeeping. You will ideally have an accountancy education background or 2-3 years relevant experience in a similar role and be detailed and organized.   • Update the various ledgers of the company.
  • Inputting of Invoices.
  • Prepare reconciliations monthly.
  • Prepare local and foreign payments.
  • Statements reconciliation.
  • Perform general accounting duties.
  • Prepare necessary schedules as required by auditors during their audit checks
  • Preferably have accounting qualification to O’ level or above
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role performing similar duties
  • Possess excellent admin and reporting skills
  • Have good working ethics and be hard working and reliable
  • Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal (preference if Maltese speaking)
