DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Overview insurers / brokers / commissions / allocations / movement in accounting system
-
Follow up with underwriters and brokers on the position.

Reconciliation of Statements of accounts from underwriters and brokers
-
Prepare payments in accounting system and in banking platform
-
Reconciliation of sub-system VS General Ledger
-
Overview Bank Reconciliations
-
Prepare revenue accruals
-
Bad Debt calculation
-
Support on statutory audit from Top4 Accounting & Audit Group
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education & Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (mandatory).

Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA are a strong advantage.

Familiarity with insurance accounting principles (e.g., premiums, commissions, reinsurance) is preferred.
Experience
-
2–5 years of experience in Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable or general accounting.

Prior experience in the insurance or financial services sector is highly preferred.

Hands-on experience with reconciliations, payment processing, and working with brokers or underwriters is highly preferred
Technical Skills
-
Strong proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, SunSystems, or similar).

Knowledge of IFRS or other relevant reporting frameworks is a plus.
