A large international shipping company are working with GRS to recruit an Accounts Officer for their Limassol based offices. The successful candidate will be a Member of the Institute of Certified Accountants and/or a Chartered Accountant and have a minimum of 5 years’ previous experience.   • To perform all necessary actions and checks to accurately record income and expenses
  • To reconcile daily sales to cash receipts and ensure that they are banked on a timely basis
  • To assist in preparation of financial reports
  • To strictly follow and implement the Company’s Compliance policies concerning anti-money laundering, anti-bribery and anti-corruption and to report any suspicious transactions.
  • To follow up on accounts payable and handle accounts receivable
  • To prepare bank reconciliations on a monthly basis
  • To ensure financial information and documents are correctly processed on a daily basis
  • To carry out financial due diligence to customers as may be required
  • Member of the Institute of Certified and/or Chartered Accountant
  • A minimum of 5 years’ work experience
  • Good knowledge of computers and IT software
  • Very good written and verbal Greek and English
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Team player with positive attitude
  • Willingness to handle routine functions
  • Well-presented, with good manners and sales skills
  • Previous work in a shipping/ logistics company (preferred)
