GRS Recruitment are representing an international Forex company who are searching for an Accounts Officer to join their growing team in Limassol. The successful candidate will be working as part of the Finance Team in Limassol, to maintain the accounting records of the various entities within the Group and assist in the preparation of Monthly Management Accounts.   • Daily reconciliation of bank accounts, both corporate and client accounts
  • Daily reconciliation of PSP transactions with the trading system
  • Client transactions/trading book to be posted in the accounting system
  • Process any other daily reconciliations as required
  • Process supplier payments and maintain supplier ledger & reconcile to supplier statements
  • Assist with month end procedures to ensure that:
    • Provisions for prepayments and accruals are posted
    • FA schedule is maintained
    • Generation of TB and monthly management accounts for review with relevant schedules for reference and breakdowns
    • Substantiating the monthly balance sheet
    • Providing input for commentary on the BS & PnL
    • Maintain supplier ledger and ensure all payments are done on a timely manner
    • Act as point of call for departments querying payment of invoices
    • Daily reporting preparation & supervision
    • Review the banks and PSP reconciliations
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting requirements, which may arise from time to time
  • Assisting with the annual audit for the financial statements to be submitted within the deadline
  • Ensuring that all relevant internal and external deadlines are met
  • Work experience in Finance and the Forex Industry
  • Graduate of Accountancy or having studied business, economics or accounting or Qualified by experience
  • Works well as part of a team in a pressurized and multi-tasking environment
  • Able to identify weaknesses in system and address these
  • Quick learner
  • Proficiencies in Excel
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail
