An international group of companies operating within the digital publishing, ad technology, and performance marketing industry is partnering with GRS Recruitment to recruit an Ad Tech Specialist to join their growing technical and monetisation team. This is a highly technical and commercially impactful role focused on managing and optimising the company’s ad monetisation infrastructure, including real-time bidding systems, ad servers, and programmatic demand integrations. The successful candidate will play a key role in maximising advertising revenue while ensuring seamless user experience across digital properties. The position can be based in Cyprus (Nicosia, Limassol, or Paphos) depending on candidate preference.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Own and manage the company’s ad monetisation infrastructure, including ad servers, RTB systems, and SSP/DSP integrations

Set up, maintain, and optimise ad trafficking processes, including tag implementation, pixel tracking, SDK integrations, and campaign configuration

Monitor and troubleshoot ad delivery issues such as latency, rendering problems, tracking discrepancies, and bid stream errors

Analyse key advertising performance metrics including eCPM, fill rate, win rate, and request-to-impression ratios

Design and execute A/B tests across ad placements, formats, pricing floors, and auction strategies

Work closely with product and engineering teams to develop and implement new ad placements and monetisation features

Manage relationships with external partners, including SSPs, DSPs, and ad exchanges

Support onboarding and configuration of new demand sources and monetisation channels

Develop and maintain technical documentation, including integration guides and best practices

Monitor industry trends in programmatic advertising, RTB, privacy regulations, and identity solutions

Provide regular performance reports and revenue insights to senior management

Identify and implement opportunities to improve yield and overall revenue performance
CANDIDATE PROFILE

2–5 years of experience in Ad Operations, Ad Tech, Programmatic Monetisation, or a related field

Strong experience with ad servers such as Google Ad Manager (GAM) or similar platforms

Good understanding of RTB, OpenRTB protocols, SSPs, DSPs, and header bidding

Experience with ad trafficking, tag management, pixel tracking, and SDK integrations

Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and performance metrics

Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets; SQL or BI tools will be considered an advantage

Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical ad delivery issues

Ability to translate technical concepts into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders

Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and commercial teams

Proactive mindset with a focus on revenue optimisation and continuous improvement

Fluent in English; additional languages will be considered an advantage
SALARY AND BENEFITS

€38,000 - €55,000 Gross Per Annum
