On behalf of our Client, operating in the Real Estate, Hospitality and Marine Industry, GRS are seeking to recruit an Architect to join their continuously expanding team in Larnaca. The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of relevant experience as an Architect with solid experience of local building regulations. This is an excellent opportunity to work with well-established organization. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Review design delivery reports, technical report, technical models, drawings and specifications
  • Track project’s technical and administrations progress
  • Monitor the Design Schedule and timelines of consultant’s deliverables
  • Prepare Progress Reports for the project status, timeline, on a weekly basis
  • Manage potential scope/planning changes against the original Project objectives/briefs to ensure the Project stays within time, quality, and cost targets
  • Monitor all design information and ensure that all designs are prepared and signed off in accordance with the requirements of the QA procedures, relevant Standards and Codes of Practice
  • Ensure tasks meet agreed specifications and timeframe
  • Ensure that corporate policies and procedures are fully implemented
  • Ensure compliance with all Statutory and Regulatory obligations, prepare submissions to the Statutory Authorities and obtain approvals as necessary
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelors / Master Degree in architecture
  • At least 10 years of experience on previous similar projects
  • Member of ETEK or equivalent
  • Solid knowledge of Local Building regulations
  • Experience designing mix use development across the full project lifecycle from feasibility to detailed design. Solid working knowledge of BIM Level 2 project requirements and processes
  • Qualified to degree level in Landscape Architecture, or similar Master’s degree
  • Knowledge of Local Administration procedures in Design, Pre-Construction (i.e., Permits and Licenses), Construction and Post-Construction phases
  • Solid working knowledge of Engineering Software and Project Management Software such as REVIT, AutoCAD, BIM 360 and ProjectWise
  • Member of ETEK or equivalent
  • Ability to work under pressure and understand the importance of delivery and client satisfaction
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • English and Greek languages are essential
