A privately managed and owned independent marine insurance broker are working with GRS to recruit an Assistant Accountant for their Limassol office. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role with a high fluency in English.   • Perform day to day invoicing and administrative tasks as requested.
  • Act as support Interface between Accounts and Broking Teams.
  • Assist on preparation and issuing of invoices, support to Broking.
  • Assist collection on credit control monitoring of payments.
  • Assist on preparation of reporting to management.
  • Minimum 1-2 years in an accounting administrative role.
  • Educated to Diploma / Degree level.
  • Experience with computerised accounting records.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Advanced Excel level is needed for this role with the ability to work with broking/accounting software
  • Fluency in English both verbal and writing. German or Greek language would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Self-initiative, highly organised and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with an enthusiastic personality.
