Our esteemed client, a well-regarded Hotel & Catering company, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant F&B Manager to join their team in Limassol. This is a permanent position perfect for someone passionate about delivering exceptional food and beverage service. The Assistant F&B Manager supports the F&B Manager in the daily operation and supervision of the Food & Beverage department, ensuring high service standards, efficient team coordination and exceptional guest experience.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist the F&B Manager in overseeing the daily F&B operations and ensuring smooth service across all outlets.
  • Supervise and support F&B team members, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and service standards.
  • Prepare and coordinate staff schedules, shifts and daily staffing requirements, ensuring adequate coverage based on operational needs.
  • Monitor attendance, absences and leave requests and communicate relevant matters to the F&B Manager.
  • Support the team in delivering high-quality and consistent guest service, handling guest requests and complaints professionally.
  • Conduct team briefings and provide on-the-job training, coaching and feedback to employees.
  • Coordinate effectively with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth and timely service.
  • Monitor cleanliness, presentation, hygiene, health and safety standards across F&B areas.
  • Support the F&B Manager with sales, upselling, cost control, inventory and stock management.
  • Monitor daily operational issues and take appropriate action or escalate matters to the F&B Manager when required.
  • Assist with operational reports, performance monitoring and other administrative duties related to the department.
  • Support the implementation of new procedures, promotions and initiatives to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain professional and effective communication with guests, employees, management and other departments.
  • Perform any other related duties reasonably assigned by Management.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in Food & Beverage, preferably within a 5-star hotel, luxury hospitality or high-end restaurant environment.
  • Good knowledge of F&B operations and service standards.
  • Previous experience in team supervision, staff scheduling and daily operational coordination.
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused with a strong commitment to service excellence.
  • Good organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, hands-on and team-oriented approach.
  • Good understanding of health, safety and hygiene standards.
  • Good knowledge of English; Greek is considered an advantage/required according to operational needs.
  • Knowledge of POS systems and basic inventory/cost control procedures will be considered an advantage.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, public holidays and special events, according to operational requirements.
  • Relevant qualification in Hospitality, F&B Management or a related field will be considered an advantage.

SALARY AND BENEFITS
  • €30,000 - €40,000 Gross Per Annum
  • Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative, any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability.
