For their team in Limassol, we are currently seeking to recruit an Assistant Financial Controller. The successful candidate must have at least 3 years’ experience within audit or accounting and excellent communication skills.   • Handle accounting and bookkeeping requirements as part of month end close process
  • Ensure that transactions are recorded in the correct ledger, supplier ledger with adequate details
  • Assist at the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Prepares and submit account payable requests
  • Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
  • Work with Payroll, TAX, VAT providers
  • Prepare bank and client money reconciliations
  • Maintains historical records by filling documents
  • Assistance with ad-hoc financial matters
  • Assistance with back-office matters
  • University degree in accounting and finance or relevant subject
  • Work experience in accounting / audit of at least 3 years
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Proficiency with MS Office (excel)
  • Strong command of English language
  • Part Qualified/qualified ACCA / ACA would be considered an advantage
  • CySEC Advanced Certificate would be considered an advantage
