Established Group of Companies with decades of experience in the hospitality industry in Malta has asked GRS Recruitment Malta to recruit an Assistant Hotel Manager. The selected candidate will oversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to hotel policies and established procedures in collaboration with the Hotel Manager. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Delegate responsibilities to Heads of Departments and monitor their performance to maintain operational excellence.
  • Monitor and manage guest feedback on platforms.
  • Establish targets, KPIs, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Foster a two-way communication environment, promoting teamwork and motivation among staff.
  • Uphold health and safety regulations to provide a secure environment for guests and employees.
  • Provide regular reports on sales results, productivity to the management team.
  • Lead operations meetings and daily briefings with HODs in the absence of the Hotel Manager.
  • Ensure strict adherence to hotel operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Develop managers, supervisors, and high-potential employees through comprehensive development plans.
  • Drive service quality and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Proven experience in food and beverage management within high-volume and multi-outlet establishments.
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • A mature, courteous, and cooperative team player with exceptional human relations skills.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Skilled in problem identification and efficient resolution.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Capability to manage personnel and achieve financial targets.
  • Experience in financial accounting, personnel supervision, and problem resolution is an added advantage.
