On behalf of our client a well-established tax, legal advisory and corporate services firm providing a wide range of services to both local and international clients, GRS are seeking to recruit an Associate - Tax Advisor for their Malta based offices. The successful applicant will have at least 1 year’s previous experience and will join the firm’s tax section and will be providing tax services to the firm’s local and international client base. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the Tax Compliance work such as Income Tax Returns and Claims for Refund amongst others

Liaising with auditors on tax computation matters

Advising and assisting clients on their fiscal obligations and compliance within the prescribed time limits

Providing quality service to clients and reporting to management on a regular basis.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
ACCA qualification or equivalent
-
At least 1 relevant working experience

Knowledge and understanding of local and international tax
-
Be able to work independently as well as in a team
-
Excellent communication and written skills in English and Maltese, whilst knowledge of the Italian language is considered an asset.
