As the Associated-Director in the Back-Office Support Malta department, you will be in charge of the Back-Office Support team. Reporting directly to the Deputy Head Back-Office, you will be in charge of the supervision of the operational activities and the people management in accordance with your senior management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Management:

Hiring:

Leading the recruitment process with your Talent Acquisition Partner

Ensuring new hires are properly introduced to the team, the organization, its culture, policies, and their specific roles.

Performance Management: Setting performance expectations, providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and addressing any performance issues.

Conducting under performance process with the help of your Senior Management and HR Partner.
Operations management:

Controlling daily operations: (Payments screening, data updates, transactions processing, etc.)

Reporting: implementing and producing periodical statistics and reports

Documentation and Procedures: properly documenting main procedures

Collaborating: external / internal

Project Management: guide internal projects

Monitoring: team’s capacity allocation

Report to the Vice-director and assist him/her in the strategic planning of the team’s activities

Oversee and coordinate back-office functions to ensure smooth operational flow

Manage and support day-to-day administrative processes related to Forex trading activities

Implement and maintain efficient procedures and controls within the back-office team
-
Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
-
Lead and develop the back-office team to meet performance targets and deliver outstanding service
-
Monitor procedural compliance and perform regular reviews to optimise workflows
-
Handle escalations effectively and ensure issues are resolved promptly
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Minimum of 5 years track record of back-office environment.
-
Previous experience in a leadership role is a strong advantage.

Very good knowledge and previous experience in Back-office/Operations department

Proficiency with Office banking operations

Very good understanding of operational workflows
-
Strong project management and problem-solving skills

Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment

Excellent interpersonal skills, results-oriented, team player

Excellent communication and presentation skills
