DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Effectively manage the Audit process with appropriate consideration of audit risk issues & accounting technical matters

Lead and manage fieldwork on client sites including liasing with other departments to ensure smooth delivery of the Audit process.

Review work prepared by audit personnel

Identify areas requiring improvement in the client’s business processes and possible recommendations and prepare and deliver the Management Letter to be provided to the client.

Organise the team in such a way that processes, roles & responsibilities are clear and work is efficiently and equally divided amongst colleagues

Coach and stimulate more junior profiles in view of the right achievements and personal development and provide more senior executives with inputs to properly proceed to the performance review of counselees.

Contribute to effective teamwork in interval engagement situations

Provide on-the-job training for developing auditing skills and familiarity with the firm’s audit methodology;

Such other duties as may be assigned by the Firm from time to time.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
An Accounting qualification from university, or recognised body (such as ACCA) at MQF Level 6 or preferably at MQF Level 7
-
Must have six years of experience or more, and a proven track record of having worked in a similar role.

Demonstrate sound familiarity with a wide range of Microsoft and computerised audit packages.

Have excellent communication skills.

Must show sound task ownership and communication skills as an audit assistant manager, in addition to support and mentor staff.

Previous experience of client work in relevant industries to audit clients.
SALARY AND BENEFITS

€40,000 - €45,000 Gross Per Annum
