A long-standing Accounting and Audit firm with offices in Larnaca is working in partnership with GRS Recruitment to hire an Audit Manager for their team. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsibility of the department its efficiency, staffing, operations and functions and productivity of subordinates
  • Apply the policies & procedures of the company.
  • Engage, motivate, support, coach/mentor and train subordinates.
  • Align their own and subordinates’ goals with the strategic goals of the organization.
  • Managing projects/portfolios and assigning as appropriate and supervise
  • Set expectations and monitor progress along with the senior members.
  • Performance management & feedback on the spot, yearly appraisal
  • To report to the directors on the progress, performance of their own and their subordinates, any subordinates’ issues.
  • Ensure Continues Professional Development
  • Make suggestions for any changes for effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Contribution to the business development, company growth and success
  • Any other role and/or project that will be assigned.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • University degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or another related field
  • ACCA/ACA qualification
  • At least 8 years of previous working experience in Audit.
  • Fluency in Greek and English, both written and verbal
  • Be Up to date in all Audit, IFRS, software and other legislative or other related issues
  • Computer literate/Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent knowledge of audit program/software
  • Knowledge of accounts production program
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Resourceful and proactive
  • Excellent Training/mentoring/coaching skills
  • Excellent Management and leadership skills
  • Excellent Negotiation skills and client support
  • Integrity of character and strong work ethic.
