A young and vibrant company with an increasing tech team is looking for an Automated QA Engineer to join their team in Malta or work remotely. You may be working on AI features while leveraging cutting-edge cloud technology or, you will find yourself using exciting technologies like Redis, Elasticsearch, GraphQL, Azure Cognitive Services, amongst others. The ideal candidate will have 3 years’ experience as an automated QA engineer on a web-based product, ideally built on the Microsoft stack. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Integrate into a team of 4 and take up the QA responsibility for all the work delivered by that team.
  • Design manual test scripts and occasionally automated and execute them against ongoing sprint work.
  • Ensure that all the deliverables of the sprint are robust and production ready.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • At least 3 years experience as an automated QA engineer on a web-based product, ideally built on the Microsoft stack.
  • Experience in test automation using technologies such as Specflow, Gherkin, Selenium.
  • REST API knowledge.
  • Basic experience with database technologies (MSSQL Server)
  • Ability to design and execute test scripts based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodology and has experience working in such an environment.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and GIT considered an asset.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and basic knowledge of Docker considered an asset.
  • Experience with microservice architecture considered an asset.
  • BSc degree in Computer Science or equivalent will be considered an asset.
  • Able and willing to learn new technologies.
  • Has strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
