GRS are working closely with a Company with extensive international and local experience and expertise in the transportation sector to recruit an Automotive Engineer/Mechanical Engineer for their Nicosia team. Our Client has invested significantly in modernizing their way of work and making it safer, more convenient and more environmentally friendly for the public. The successful candidate will be supporting the establishment of Maintenance Policy and required indicators for monitoring. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure that Balance Scorecard and KPI’s for the department contains proper information for the operation and reflects reality of the business area
  • Basic information analysis on data regarding the different area functions: maintenance, purchasing, cleaning, and fuelling
  • Responsibility for the analysis of systematic failures in the fleet to prepare engineering manager decisions required to find suitable solutions
  • Prepare decisions on training needs for the personnel, and their follow up.
  • Coordinate with Health & Safety Department of the company to analyse H&S risks in the workshop and prepare proper decisions to mitigate them
  • Performing of reports, studies and projects related to her/ his activity
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Undergraduate and/or Postgraduate degree in Automotive Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Knowledge in Quality assurance, Environment protection and Occupational Health and Safety
  • 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge on diagnostic tools and system to evaluate and solve active code errors in electronics
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite and of Greek and English language
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, proactive team player, self-motivated, uses initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyse complex mechanical / electrical incidents and define the next steps for their resolution
  • Ability to perform under pressure
