An established and regulated investment firm are looking for a Back Office Assistant to join their growing team in Limassol. The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of back office experience and be a holder of the CySEC advanced certificate or willing to take the exam within 6 months. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reception and transmission of trade orders, solving issues related to trading
- Maintenance of list of trade orders, perform post-trade control and regular reconciliation of records and transactions with banks, brokers, and fund administrators
- Prepare instructions for payments, securities transfers
- Communication with banks on trading and other issues
- Maintenance of Back Office system, input data of manual portfolios into the system
- Perform daily reconciliations
- Prepare monthly and ad-hoc reports on client portfolios.
- Deal with transaction reporting and other MiFID requirements
- Draft of business correspondence, requests, applications and other documents that may be required in connection with the activity of the Employer
- Record keeping of executed transactions, invoices (archive)
- Generating different reports as per Company’s requirements
- Assist Head of Back Office in daily tasks
- Provide back up and holiday cover for colleagues in the Back Office team
- Working hours from 9:30 to 18:30
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Accuracy and attention to details
- Fluency in English is a must, Russian language will be considered as a major advantage
- At least 1 year of experience in a Back-Office role
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Computer literate (MSOffice)
- Candidate must be skilled in mathematics.
- Must be a fast learner.
- CySEC Advanced exam is an advantage. Otherwise the exam should be passed during 6 month
- No legal restrictions to work in Cyprus
