A leading provider of software development products and services is looking for a Backend Developer to join their team in Malta or work remotely. This is an excellent opportunity to join an existing team of developers working on a cloud-based enterprise solution. The ideal candidate will have 5 years’ experience, a degree in Computer Science and be proficient in C# and ASP.NET. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Work on development tasks from a backlog in VSTS (Azure DevOps)

Write reusable and reliable code.

Identify bugs and issues and make sure all the code is properly developer tested.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
BSc degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
-
3 years’ experience with ASP.NET Web API or MVC.
-
Proficient in C#, ASP.NET and ASP.NET Core.
-
Good understanding of database paradigms (SQL).
-
Strong knowledge of Azure services and concepts such as event-based messaging, distributed caches and related technologies is required.
-
Experience in Elasticsearch and Redis is considered an asset.
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
