On behalf of our client, a Technological forward-thinking company based in Limassol, GRS Recruitment are seeking a Billing Specialist to join the  Finance team. This role is the central hub for all commercial, pricing, contractual, and billing activities related to customer deals and subscriptions. It combines strong commercial judgment with operational excellence to manage the full quote-to-cash lifecycle: from deal structuring and pricing, through contracting and order processing, to billing, renewals, and contract optimization. You will work closely with Finance, Delivery teams, and Management to ensure that all deals are commercially sound, compliant with corporate policies, accurately billed, and aligned with customer needs. You will also proactively support renewals, identify upsell opportunities, and drive process improvements across commercial operations. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Act as a key commercial advisor on deal structuring, pricing, contracting, and revenue recognition topics.
  • Review, analyze, and comment on complex deals to ensure they are commercially viable, compliant, and approved within internal timelines.
  • Provide guidance on go-to-market models, offerings, and new business models.
  • Identify commercial risks, potential pitfalls, and compliance issues early, and communicate proactively with management.
  • Drive decision-making by balancing customer requirements, business targets, internal rules, financial risk, and compliance considerations.
  • Prepare accurate and timely customer quotes and proposals for new business, renewals, and upsells.
  • Ensure all quotes comply with internal pricing guidelines, licensing rules, and company policies.
  • Manage order processing through partner portals and internal systems.
  • Ensure smooth handover and alignment with Finance and Delivery teams during order execution.
  • Prepare Contract Order Forms using company templates.
  • Review, comment on, and redline customer contracts to ensure commercial and financial alignment.
  • Ensure all contracts comply with corporate policies and legal requirements.
  • Own the end-to-end billing cycle for all subscription, support, and service contracts.
  • Generate and issue accurate invoices in a timely manner.
  • Manage billing discrepancies, credits, and adjustments.
  • Reconcile partner/vendor reports with internal billing records.
  • Work closely with Finance to ensure accurate revenue recognition and reporting.
  • Proactively manage a portfolio of customer renewals (typically 60–90 days in advance).
  • Prepare and execute renewal quotes, secure approvals, and process renewals before contract expiration.
  • Ensure seamless coordination with Finance and Delivery teams to support customer continuity.
  •  Analyze customer usage and contract terms to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities (e.g. additional users, modules, service expansions).
  • Flag commercial risks, gaps, or opportunities to management.
  • Support revenue growth by suggesting practical commercial solutions aligned with customer needs and compliance.
  • Act as the primary internal point of contact for billing, pricing, and contract-related queries.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Delivery teams, and Management to ensure commercial alignment and execution.
  • Maintain accurate customer and contract records in CRM and financial systems.
  • Provide clear and professional communication to customers regarding commercial, contractual, and billing matters.
  • Continuously improve and document commercial, billing, and renewal processes.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, corporate policies, and legal standards.
  • Support efficient, simple, and scalable commercial processes without unnecessary complexity.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • BSc in Business Administration, Law, MBA or any related field
  • 3–5+ years’ experience in commercial operations, pricing, billing, revenue recognition, contracting, or subscription management
  • Strong understanding of commercial models, pricing structures, and contract management
  • Experience in deal support topics: pricing, deal structuring, revenue recognition, and risk management
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and a high volume of contracts
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a complex, fast-changing, and demanding environment
  • Advanced written and spoken English; Greek is an advantage
