GRS Recruitment are working in partnership with an established audit firm with an office in Nicosia who are searching for a proactive and knowledgeable Bookkeeper to join the team. The ideal candidate will have 2 years’ bookkeeping/accounting experience, English and Greek language skills, and works well under pressure. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Day to day updating of the accounting records of the companies
  • Preparation and submission of VAT quarterly returns, VIES and Intrastat
  • Preparation of Payroll, social Insurance, PAYE, IR59, IR7
  • Communication with clients to solve issues and/or requests that may arise
  • Reconciliation of Bank accounts, reconciliation of supplier’s statements and issuing of suppliers cheques
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • LCCI higher or intermediate certification
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office essential
  • General computer literacy essential
  • 2 years + of experience as a bookkeeper
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Greek is a must
  • Requires very strong organisational skills
  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and work quickly and efficiently essential
