GRS Recruitment are working an established financial services company are looking to recruit a Junior Broker to join their Nicosia based team. The successful candidate will need high numerical and analytical skills required for this role, computer literacy and an understanding for the financial markets. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reconciling trading platforms, counterparty balances

Trade order creation and execution.

Monitor and manage trading applications – connectivity/pricing/administration

Execute client orders given over the telephone or any other approved method/medium.

Facilitate Trading Desk operations both for European and US markets

Communicate product technicalities to existing clients in clear and transparent manner.

Provide training to existing clients in relation to the selected trading platforms via demo account.

Execution of client orders when requested after client identity verification and availability of funds.

Other related duties the management sees needed and fit.

Post trade processing and resolving trade settlement issues in a timely manner.

Client Reporting Support
-
Support Investment research & reporting to Management or the Competent Authorities

Investment and Operational Projects as needed and requested by Management.

Research and process corporate actions (i.e., tender offers)

Investigation of client complaints regarding execution.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Up to 1 years’ experience .
-
Fluency in English, both verbal and written is a must.

Holder of a bachelor’s degree.
-
Strong analytical skill
-
Previous experience in the Financial Service Industry will be considered an advantage.
