DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the Business Applications team in the development and implementation of innovative software solutions.

Manage the performance and development of team members to ensure high-quality outputs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective IT solutions.

Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of existing applications and systems.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software development.

Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- An MQF level 6 qualification in Computer Science or an IT related subject, coupled with 5 years’ experience (incl. 1 in a senior role) relevant to this post, OR an MQF level 5 qualification in Computer Science or an IT related subject, coupled with 7 years’ experience relevant to this post;
- Demonstrate experience in working in a senior role and leading a team of IT professionals.
- Be proactive and showing a positive attitude towards the duties and colleagues;
- Confident in managing highly complex processes, involving cross-functional teams;
- Confident and articulate communicator, capable of driving strong collaboration across multi-disciplinary functions;
- Have strong analytical, problem solving and planning skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment;
- Be customer-service oriented;
- Be able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment;
- Excellent communication skills in both the Maltese and English Language.
