An international Payment Service Provider is looking for a Business Development Representative to play a key role as they expand their sales and business development activities and support their expanding business in Malta. You will report to the Head of Business Operations and liaise with the Sales teams to follow-up, qualify and identify opportunities and outbound efforts targeting accounts to feed the sales pipeline. You should apply if you have a degree in business administration, economics, finance or related field and have at least 3 years’ experience in Sales or customer retention. Experience in EMI, banking or other financial institution is a plus. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work closely with the Sales teams to follow-up, qualify and identify opportunities and outbound efforts targeting accounts to feed the sales pipeline
  • Research accounts prior to the first contact to understand the prospect needs and educate the prospect on the benefits of the Company’s products
  • Perform outbound targeting of clients which meet the Company’s customer profile
  • Become a credible resource and develop trusted relationships with prospected clients
  • Work closely with Sales to identify and uncover opportunities of targeted accounts
  • Identify opportunities to hand-over to the Sales Account Executive for further follow-up
  • Responsible for meeting BDR metrics and assigned goals
  • Responsible for managing leads through a defined process.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Degree in business administration, economics, finance or related field
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Sales or customer retention. Experience in EMI, banking or other financial institution is a plus
  • Good network of Gaming companies
  • Excellent knowledge of MS office: Excel, MS Word; LinkedIn
  • English, excellent both written and verbal, other languages is a plus
  • Excellent follow-up skills responding to and qualifying leads Research skills and curiosity
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and resources effectively
  • objection handling skills
  • Superb communications skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to demonstrate products highlighting benefits/advantages/features
  • Self-starter, with a high-energy, positive phone presence
