MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Carry out cargo surveys on local and international clients

Attending to survey of cargoes onboard vessels, in port areas as well as in land warehouses.

Following up with writing of a survey report and the collation of various shipping and insurance related documentation.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Fluency in both English and Maltese
-
Good educational background
-
Prior experience working with shipping / freight forwarding / insurance companies or sea going career would be considered an asset

As the role involves claim discussions and negotiation, applicants should have good communication skills

Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with the team
