MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive the company’s financial planning and support strategic decisions

Advise Board of Directors on the financial implications of business activities and capital structure

Manage and regularly report cash flow to the Board

Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance and Accounting functions

Take full ownership of the Financial department and its future development

Help to set up long-term operational goals, budgets and forecasts from a finance perspective

Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports

Put in place a robust system of financial controls

Prepare and communicate the required financial reports to the regulator and tax authorities in Cyprus and abroad
-
Manage relationships with internal or external finance/audit professionals and accounting partners

Establish and develop relationships with crucial banking partners
-
Manage the liquidity pools in various financial institutions
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
University graduate in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field
-
CPA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA fully qualified
-
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role ideally in a start-up environment

Excellent knowledge of English both speaking and writing
-
Knowledge of EU/ECB financial regulations and frameworks and financial law and risk management practices in Fintech
-
Proficient in the use of Excel and financial management software
-
Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment

Open-minded and tech savvy, with hands-on attitude
