You will own the technical roadmap, from it’s current manual abstraction layer to a long-term vision of autonomous, AI-driven API integration. The ideal candidate will lead the engineering team to build a platform that allows operators to add powerful AI tools—such as Fast Track AI, Mindway, and Game Check—with single-click integration. Your primary challenge will be evolving this platform into a system where specially trained AI agents autonomously ingest partner API documentation to generate integration interfaces without human coding. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITLIES
- Platform Architecture & Development:
- Lead the development of the unified API integration layer using robust strategies like hexagonal architecture (ports and adapters) to ensure maintainability and scalability.
- Oversee the engineering of our MVP, targeting a working prototype by early summer and live integrations beginning in July.
- Direct the launch of Version 1 in time for a gaming conference (October–November).
- AI Innovation:
- Spearhead the "Phase Two" vision: developing and refining AI agents that process third-party API documentation to automate the integration of new suppliers and platforms.
- Stay at the forefront of AI capabilities to reduce integration timelines from months to just days or hours.
- Technical Operations:
- Maintain full accountability for server maintenance, API stability, and technical infrastructure.
- Bridge the gap between AI-driven data passing and standard backend/infrastructure engineering.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- A deep understanding of the iGaming ecosystem and API expertise are essential.
- Proven track record in backend engineering, server maintenance, and complex API integrations. Experience with hexagonal architecture is highly preferred.
- Practical experience in building or deploying AI-driven automation and a passion for pushing the boundaries of what AI can do in software engineering.
- Ability to lead a phased rollout, balancing manual work today with the automation requirements of tomorrow.
