GRS are working with one of Nicosia’s most established and highly reputable FX Brokerage’s to recruit a Chief Technology Officer. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Set a vision for how technology will be used in the company
  • Ensure that technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needs
  • Outline the goals for research and development and coordinate their implementation
  • Create timelines for the development and deployment of all technological services
  • Make executive decisions on behalf of the company's technological requirements and keep Management Board aligned on them
  • Maintain a customer-centric outlook and aiding in the delivery of IT projects to market
  • Manage technology budgets and time frames
  • Stay on top of technology trends and developments and proactively introduce improvements into Technology roadmap
  • Ensure all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards
  • Work effectively with all levels of an organization and beyond, including Management Board, Supervisory Board, investors etc
  • Be a mentor to team members
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar field
  • Fluent English language skills both written and verbal.
  • Advanced technological skillset and a demonstrated history with technology
  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in progressive technology companies
  • 5+ years of Management experience
  • Extensive industry knowledge with an eye towards the future
  • Advanced use of modern computer software (Microsoft Suite) used for daily work-related activities.
  • Readiness to learn to use new programs and software
  • Strategical thinking
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent organizational and management skills
  • Good public speaking skills
  • Strong sense of responsibility and orientation towards result
  • Comfortable in working in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player
  • Highly organized and have a capacity to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at once
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Good stress tolerance
  • Strong attention to detail, but at the same time with ability to see the bigger picture
  • Excellent communication skills, both in verbal and written form
  • Ability to delegate efficiently
  • Experience working in a Fintech Industry is a plus
