MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Act as Project Manager / Client Representative for new projects, renovations, maintenance works, repairs, etc.

Manage, administer, coordinate and supervise technical and construction projects, under the direction of the responsible Manager.

Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements.

Provide project management services throughout all stages of the project lifecycle, from inception through to completion, including new projects, maintenance works, renovations, repairs, demolitions, etc., as follows:

Initiate and develop the project brief in collaboration with the responsible Manager.

Monitor and oversee the design and planning process.
-
Organise Value Engineering workshops aimed at achieving optimal design solutions.

Coordinate the preparation and submission of applications for planning and/or building permits, in collaboration with the appointed consultant, to ensure that all necessary approvals are obtained.

Monitor and oversee tendering procedures.

Advise the design team on the construction strategy and appropriate form of contract.

Organise and evaluate construction tenders in collaboration with the appointed consultant and responsible Manager.

Monitor project progress, cost and quality, and ensure compliance with the approved programme and budget, in collaboration with the design team and/or third-party consultants.

Monitor project expenditure to ensure adherence to the approved budget.

Prepare technical and project progress reports.

Negotiate the final account in collaboration with the appointed consultant.

Assess and negotiate claims in collaboration with the appointed consultant.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, with a postgraduate qualification and/or experience in Project Management of technical and construction projects.

A postgraduate qualification will be considered an advantage.

3–5 years of professional experience as a Civil Engineer.

Previous experience as a Project Manager.

Excellent command of both Greek and English.
